Actions:
Menthol provides a mild anesthetic effect and cooling sensation for symptomatic relief of occasional minor sore
throat pain and minor throat irritations. Benzocaine in the Maximum Strength lozenges provides an anesthetic effect for
additional symptomatic relief of minor sore throat pain.
Indications: For temporary relief of occasional minor sore throat pain and dry, scratchy throat.
Warnings:
If sore throat is severe, persists for more than 2 days, is accompanied or followed by fever, headache, rash,
nausea, or vomiting, consult a physician promptly. Do not administer to children under 6 years of age unless directed by
physician or dentist. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product.
Directions: Adults and children 6 years of age and older: Dissolve 1 lozenge in the mouth every 2 hours as needed or as directed by a physician or dentist. For children under 6 years, consult a physician or dentist.
